An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an ultrasound signal transceiving unit that transmits an ultrasound signal to a subject and receives an ultrasound echo signal reflected from the subject; a control unit that extracts, on the basis of the echo signal received by the ultrasound signal transceiving unit, region information which is information about a region that each of a plurality of objects included in the subject occupies within the subject, and changes, on the basis of the region information, visibility-related parameters corresponding to the region occupied by each of the plurality of objects according to a predetermined value to generate a plurality of preset data corresponding to each of the plurality of objects; a parameter information storage unit that stores information on the predetermined value and provides information on the predetermined value to the control unit in response to a request of the control unit; and a display unit that, after receiving the plurality of preset data from the control unit, renders and outputs preset 3D volume data for the subject on the basis of the plurality of preset data.
