Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is, in vector Doppler measurement, to automatically identify aliasing with respect to Doppler shifts which are measured from a plurality of directions. Provided is an ultrasound image capture device, comprising a signal processing unit which processes echo signals which are received with a plurality of aperture parts which are formed upon an ultrasound probe, wherein the signal processing unit further comprises a Doppler velocity computation unit which computes the Doppler velocity of a tissue from the received signals which are received with each of the aperture parts, and an aliasing processing unit which senses aliasing (phase wrapping) which occurs with the Doppler velocity computation. The aliasing processing unit senses the aliasing by fitting the Doppler phase shift which the Doppler velocity computation unit has computed for each of the apertures, and carries out a process such as removal or correction of the aliasing.
