Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ultrasound oscillator unit which may be made compact and which is provided with a circuit structure which has good operability with respect to wiring. This ultrasound oscillator unit comprises: an ultrasound oscillator array in which a plurality of ultrasound oscillators are arrayed in a semi-cylindrical shape; an electrode unit of the ultrasound oscillator array which is disposed on an end surface of the ultrasound oscillator array which is perpendicular to an array surface of the plurality of ultrasound oscillators; and a backing material layer which is positioned on the back surface of the inner side of the ultrasound oscillator array. The width of the backing material layer which is perpendicular to the array surface of the plurality of ultrasound oscillators tapers toward the side opposite to the array surface of the plurality of ultrasound oscillators. A cable wiring unit which is electrically connected to the electrode unit is disposed along the width of the backing material layer.
