Abstract:
Disclosed is an ultrasound probe having an improved case, enabling the external shape of the ultrasound probe to be changed by an examiner to reduce the fatigue of the examiner, and enabling problems that may occur during an inspection to be prevented. An ultrasound probe according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transducer module for emitting ultrasonic waves to an object, receiving echoed ultrasonic waves reflected from the object, and interconverting electrical signals and ultrasonic waves; a case which receives the transducer module; and a transformation unit, which forms at least a portion of the exterior of the ultrasound probe and at least a portion of which can be transformed from a first state to a second state.
