Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide an ultrasound transducer and an ultrasound probe with which it is possible to ensure a connection path while avoiding complexity in the process of manufacturing a non-conductive audio coordination layer. In a non-conductive audio coordination layer having a first surface on an electrode side of a piezoelectric body and a second surface on the opposite side thereof, a plurality of first trenches is disposed on each first face of a non-conductive audio coordination layer which is segmented according to an array of audio elements, said first trenches having a depth extending to an intermediate part between the first face and the second face. A plurality of second trenches is disposed on each second face of the non-conductive audio coordination layer having a depth extending from the second face at least to the intermediate part between the first face and the second face, said second trenches being orthogonal to the first trenches.
