Abstract:
An ultraviolet curable liquid developer which contains toner particles that contain a binder resin and a pigment, a cationically polymerizable liquid monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, and which is characterized in that: the cationically polymerizable liquid monomer contains a compound represented by formula (1); the photopolymerization initiator contains at least one compound that is selected from the group consisting of compounds having a specific structure; the toner particles are not soluble in the cationically polymerizable liquid monomer; and the ultraviolet curable liquid developer contains a compound that has a specific structure.
(1): (R1-CH=CH-O-)n-CmH(2m+2-n)
(In formula (1), m represents an integer of 4-50; n represents an integer of 1 or more; and R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms.)
