Abstract:
An ultraviolet-curable resin composition comprising (A) a urethane acrylate prepared by using as the essential components an isocyanate component consisting of an aliphatic isocyanate and an alicyclic isocyante at a molar ratio of 80/20 to 20/80, a polyol component consisting of an ester polyol, an ether polyol, or a polycarbonate polyol, and an acrylate having a hydroxyl group, (B) a reactive diluent consisting of an acrylate, and (C) a photoreaction initiator. The film formed by applying the resin composition on a substrate and photo-curing the coating exhibits the ability to follow the contour of a substrate in molding by virtue of its excellent elongation and is so excellent in heat resistance as to cause little yellowing even when heated for a long time. Further, the resin composition can give cured products reduced in residual odor, thus being useful as interior trims of vehicles for improving the design and the surface appearance and suitable for the formation of a matte surface on a substrate by printing.
