The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ultraviolet laser printing medium that yields print spots having excellent print sharpness for each spot when irradiated with an ultraviolet laser, and that yields printed matter having suppressed bulging of a protective resin layer when irradiated with the laser. Furthermore, the present invention provides printed matter in which an irradiation region is discolored when the ultraviolet laser printing medium is irradiated with the ultraviolet laser, a method for manufacturing the same, and an ink composition used in manufacturing the ultraviolet laser printing medium. Additionally, the present invention provides a processed article obtained by using the ultraviolet laser printing medium or the printed matter.　The ultraviolet laser printing medium according to the present invention includes a print layer containing a titanium oxide, and a protective resin layer in this order on a base material. The content of the titanium oxide in the print layer is 0.1 g/m2 to 4.0 g/m2, and the crystallite size of the titanium oxide in the print layer is 13-53 nm.
