Abstract:
An embodiment relates to a light emitting element, a method for manufacturing a light emitting element, a light emitting element package, and a lighting system. An ultraviolet light emitting element according to an embodiment may comprise: a first conductive semiconductor layer (112); an active layer (114) comprising a quantum barrier (114B) and a quantum well (114W), the active layer (114) being arranged on the first conductive semiconductor layer (112); and a second conductive semiconductor layer (116) on the active layer (114). The quantum barrier (114B) may comprise an undoped AlxGa1-xN layer (0≤x≤1) (114BU) and an n-type AlyGa1-yN layer (0≤y≤1) (114BN).
