Abstract:
Provided are an ultraviolet light irradiation device, an ultraviolet light irradiation method, and a program with which ultraviolet irradiation can be efficiently and safely performed. This ultraviolet light irradiation device (100) is provided with: a light source (4) for emitting ultraviolet light (L1a); a holding unit (1) for holding the light source (4) such that the light source (4) can irradiate a floor surface with the ultraviolet light (L1a); a bar (2) which is rotatably provided on the holding unit (1) and which a user (H1) can hold; and a movement mechanism (3) which movably supports the holding unit (1) on the floor surface. The ultraviolet light irradiation device (100) is further provided with: a bar axial direction detection unit (5) which detects the axial direction of the bar (2); and a light source control unit (6) which controls irradiation from the light source (4) on the basis of the detected axial direction of the bar (2).
