Abstract:
Provided is an ultraviolet radiation device that is used with a liquid spraying device that sprays a liquid which is cured by ultraviolet rays, and that is for achieving image quality improvement and abrasion and scraping resistance improvement of the printed image. An ultraviolet lamp comprising an ultraviolet emission diode is disposed in a case so that the ultraviolet lamp faces an ultraviolet radiation window of the case, the case being attachable to a recording head of the liquid spraying device that sprays a liquid which is cured by ultraviolet rays, or to a side of a member of the liquid spraying device that moves together with the recording head. The ultraviolet lamp is provided with an illuminance changing part having a region that extends from the tip thereof backwards. The illuminance changing part is divided into a plurality of segments having different illuminances, and each segment can be controlled by a controller.
