Disclosed are an ultraviolet-resistant, highly tough PMMA composition, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof. The PMMA composition of the present invention comprises the following components: 75-85 parts by weight of PMMA resin, 15-25 parts by weight of a toughening agent, 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of a toughening synergist, 0.5-3 parts by weight of an ultraviolet-blocking agent, 0-0.5 parts by weight of an antioxidant, and 0-1 part by weight of a lubricant. The toughening agent takes methyl methacrylate as a shell and takes organic silicon and acrylate as a core. The core content is ≥30 wt.%. The toughening synergist is nano-silicon dioxide. The ultraviolet-blocking agent is nano-barium sulfate and/or nano-titanium dioxide. The toughening system formed of the particular toughening agent selected and synergistic nano-silicon dioxide effectively improves the toughness of the material. Meanwhile, the particular ultraviolet-blocking agent selected improves the weather resistance of the material and acts synergistically with the toughening system, further improving the toughness of the material.
