Abstract:
There is provided an umbilical clamp (3) for connecting at least one umbilical (1) along a tubular structure, such as a riser (8). The clamp (3) comprises an elongate member (3) and at least one attachment member (2). The elongate member (3) is provided with at least one slot (7) for accommodating the umbilical (1) firmly therein. The elongate member is adapted to be attached along said tubular structure by at least one said attachment member (2), thereby forming a continuous clamping arrangement for the umbilical, along the tubular structure. A tool (5) for inserting and removing the umbilical is also provided.
