Abstract:
An umbrella and a cover for the umbrella have an umbrella body, a cup-shaped receiving
tray, and a cover tube. The cup-shaped receiving tray is fixedly or detachably
fitted to the tip of an umbrella shaft at which an umbrella cloth part of the umbrella
body can be opened. The cover tube has a flexible cover tube body one end of which
is positioned in the receiving tray, foldable and storable, and capable of covering
the umbrella cloth part when it is stored, and the cover tube also has a tubular
cover body fitted to the other end of the cover tube body, fitted to the receiving
portion when it is stored, and located at a position that enables the umbrella
cloth part to be opened. The umbrella cloth part can be covered or uncovered by
a simple operation, and the loss of the umbrella and trouble that rainwater adhered
to the umbrella cloth part is adhered to other persons can be efficiently prevented.
