Abstract:
An umbrella holding device (B) comprises a body, an umbrella receiving section, a shutter, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a slide block (4). A plurality of rows (40A), (40B) each of which comprises a plurality of holes (41) arranged parallel to each other in the inserting direction are formed on the main surface of the slide block facing a card key inserting path. When a card key is in a predetermined inserted state, the slide block is slidable. When the card key is further inserted in the inserting direction from that state, the slide block is further moved backward, and the locked state of the slide block is released. The positional relation of each set of holes in the inserting direction which are selected, one for each row, from the rows, respectively, is different for each set.
