Abstract:
An umbrella assembly comprising an umbrella and cover, the umbrella having a shaft (21) and a canopy (14) attached to an upper end of the shaft (21) which collapses from an open position to a closed position, said cover comprising an upper member (3) shaped to receive at least part of the collapsed canopy (14) and mounting means for moveably mounting the upper member (3) to an upper end of the umbrella such that the member is moveable between a first position where it at least partially encloses the collapsed canopy (14) and a second position where it is clear of the canopy (14).
