Abstract:
An umbrella which is used to protect the body from rainwater is disclosed. The umbrella, according to the present invention, comprises: an inner tube which is coupled to the inner side of an outer tube in which an auxiliary rib-fixing member and a handle are respectively coupled on upper and lower sides thereof; a main rib-fixing member which is provided on an upper end of the inner tube exposed to the upper side of the outer tube; an operating handle which is assembled in the lower side of the inner tube so as to be lifted up in a state of being integrally coupled by a pin through an operation hole that is formed on the outer tube; and a pivotable lever which is provided on the handle and receives an elastic force of a torsion spring, so that the lower end of the inner tube is supported when the umbrella is unfolded and the lower end of a fixing hole formed on the lower side of the inner tube is supported when the umbrella is folded, thereby fixing the umbrella in an unfolded state or in a folded state.
