Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide an undergarment that can suppress sliding of underwear worn by the wearer in the direction of the wearer's height with respect to the wearer's waste. The means for addressing this problem is an undergarment having a hip encircling part, wherein: a back surface part of the hip encircling part and the inside of the undergarment have a cylindrically shaped part constituted of base material for the undergarment itself and a sheet-like article different from the base material or constituted of a sheet-like article different from the base material for the undergarment itself; the cylindrically shaped part is disposed such that the axial direction thereof is substantially parallel to the hip encircling direction of the hip encircling part; the coefficient of static friction of the inner surface of the back part of the cylindrically shaped part is 0.2 – 1.0; and the stress for the cylindrically shaped part at 10% elongation in the direction of width is 10 N/25 mm or less.
