An underground pipe 1 comprises a inner pipe 11 that can house a cable 9, a protective member 12 that is disposed on the outer circumference of the inner pipe 11, and an outer pipe 10 that houses the protective member 12 and the inner pipe 11. The strength of the protective member 12 is higher than that of the inner pipe 11 and the outer pipe 10.
