Abstract:
With respect to an exterior body (11) in a ventral side part (A) of an underpants type absorbent article (1), when a waist area (A2) in which an outer layer sheet (12), an inner layer sheet (13) and an auxiliary sheet (15) overlap is divided into four in a longitudinal direction (Y) into an upper end area (D), a middle area (E) of two center areas, and a lower end area (F), an inner elastic member (71) is disposed at least between the inner layer sheet (13) and the auxiliary sheet (15) in the middle area (E). The joined area ratio between the auxiliary sheet (15) and the inner layer sheet (13) or an absorbent body (10) is higher in the upper end area (D) and the lower end area (F) than in the middle area (E), and there is a non-joined area (R2) between the outer layer sheet (13) and the inner layer sheet (12) in the area which overlaps an area (R1) in which the inner elastic member is disposed. The lower end of the auxiliary sheet (15) is within a range of 5-80 mm in the thigh direction from the edge of the absorbent body (10) in the longitudinal direction, and the auxiliary sheet (15) is joined to the absorbent body (10) for a length of 5-50 mm in the longitudinal direction.
