Abstract:
An underpants-type wearing article (1) having a pair of side seal parts (4), a waist opening (8), and a pair of leg openings (9), a facing (3) of a front (F) or a back (R) including a sheet (10A) having high-density regions (15) and low-density regions (14) parallel and alternating with each other, a striped pattern being formed on a surface forming an outer surface of the wearing article by the regions (14, 15), an edge part of the facing on a front (1A) side and an edge part of the facing on a back (1B) side having a seal edge part (41) bonded by a fused part (40) extending in a continuous line in the longitudinal direction of the side seal part (4) in at least one of the side seal parts (4), the length (L4) of the fused part (40) in an inside-outside direction (P) being less than the width of each of the high-density regions (15) and the low-density regions (14), and the direction in which stripes (35, 36) of the striped pattern extend being inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction (X') of the side seal parts (4) and the direction (Y') orthogonal thereto.
