Abstract:
Disclosed are an underwater work device and an underwater strain gauge device such that the inner pressure of a container is easily changed according to the change in the outer pressure. In the strain gauge device (100), a piston (54) attached to a tubular opening (53A) provided at a housing (53) slides in response to an outer pressure. Thus, the volume of an adjustment oil housing area (52) and a sensitive area (15) fluctuates so as to keep a balance with the outer pressure, thereby changing the inner pressure. The strain gauge device (100) can easily adjust the inner pressure as only the sliding of the piston (54) causes the inner pressure of the adjustment oil housing area (52) and the sensitive area (15) to change according to the change in the outer pressure. Further, as the above-mentioned pressure balance mechanism (51) is attained with a simple structure, the adjustment between the outer pressure and the inner pressure can be easily performed even under a high temperature and high-pressure environment.
