Abstract:
Provided is an undulation control device for a rolling line that can set the temperature of material being rolled such that undulation in the material being rolled is suppressed even when the temperature distribution in the direction of width of the material being rolled is uniform. The undulation control device for a rolling line is provided with: a tail edge rolling load calculation unit for calculating a predictive value for rolling load when no input side tension is applied on the basis of the rolling load on the material being rolled, the input side tension applied to the material being rolled, the output side tension applied to the material being rolled, and the temperature of the material being rolled; an allowable undulation rolling load calculation unit for calculating a reference value for rolling load on the material being rolled when the amount of undulation in the material being rolled is an allowable value on the basis of a permissible amount of undulation in the material being rolled when no input side tension is applied, the difference in rolling load on the material being rolled from one side to the other, and the speed of the material being rolled; and a temperature increase amount calculation unit for calculating the amount of temperature increase for the material being rolled on the basis of the difference between the predictive value for the rolling load and the reference value for the rolling load.
