Abstract:

　Provided is a uniaxially stretched multilayer laminate film in which a first layer and a second layer are alternately laminated, wherein 1) the first layer is a layer containing a polyester, the polyester containing ethylene naphthalate units in a range of 50-100 mol%, inclusive, based on the repeating units that make up the polyester, and 2) the polymer forming the second layer is a copolymer polyester that includes a 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid component, an ethylene glycol component, and a trimethylene glycol component as the copolymer components, (A) the content of the ethylene naphthalate units in the polyester of the first layer constituting 80-100 mol%, inclusive, based on the repeating units that make up the polyester, and (B) the polymer forming the second layer being a copolymer polyester that further includes an alicyclic diol component as a copolymer component. This film is a polymer film of multilayer structure employing a polyethylene naphthalate polymer in a layer having high refractive index characteristics, and is thereby provided with polarizing capability, as well as improved cohesion between layers.
