Abstract:

This uniflow scavenging 2-cycle engine comprising: a scavenging port provided on one end side in the stroke direction of a piston in a cylinder (110) and that draws in active gas; and a plurality of injection units (126g, 126h) that inject fuel gas into active gas drawn into the scavenging port, that are provided in the inner peripheral surface of the scavenging port or further on the outside of the cylinder than this inner peripheral surface, and have different positions in the stroke direction. The plurality of injection units are divided into at least two groups, namely a first injection unit group (160) being a group of at least one injection unit on one end side in the stroke direction, and a second injection unit group (162) being a group of at least one injection unit being further on the other end side in the stroke direction than the first injection unit group. The injection units in the first injection unit group are slower to stop injection of fuel gas than the injection units in the second injection unit group. As a result of this configuration, a uniflow scavenging 2-cycle engine can be provided that uniformly disperses fuel gas and suppresses fuel gas blow-by.
