Abstract:
In this uninterruptible power supply device (U1), a switch (1) is turned off during a power failure of a commercial AC power supply (41) to electrically isolate the commercial AC power supply (41) and an AC input filter (2) from each other, a DC voltage converter (6) is controlled so as to eliminate a DC voltage (ΔE = Ep – En) that is the difference between the inter-terminal voltages (Ep, En) of first and second capacitors (C1, C2), and, if the DC voltage (ΔE) has exceeded a threshold voltage (ETH), a converter (3) is controlled to reduce the DC voltage (ΔE).
