[Problem] To provide a unit for an image display device, the unit exhibiting high durability. [Solution] The present invention provides a unit for an image display device, wherein an optical film laminate and a panel for an image display device are laminated with an adhesive layer therebetween. The optical film laminate contains a polarizer and a polarizer protection functional layer laminated on only one surface of the polarizer. The adhesive layer is laminated on the surface of the polarizer that is on the opposite side of the surface that comes into contact with the polarizer protection functional layer. The panel for an image display device is laminated on the surface of the adhesive layer that is on the opposite side of the surface that comes into contact with the polarizer. The adhesive layer has a glass transition temperature between 50°C and 90°C, inclusive.
