Abstract:
Disclosed are a unit for overcoming an obstacle and a caterpillar apparatus comprising same. The unit for overcoming an obstacle of the present invention comprises: a frame portion coupled to an apparatus main body that moves up and down an obstacle including stairs; and a paddle portion which is coupled to the frame portion and adjusts the angle of the apparatus main body to correspond to the angle of the stairs in order to maintain grip with the stair surfaces, wherein the paddle portion comprises: a base body coupled to the frame portion; a support portion which is rotatably coupled to one side of the base body and supports the stair surfaces; and a paddle driving portion which is coupled to the other side of the base body and rotates the support portion.
