The invention relates to a unit price calculation system that enables customers to compare the unit price of products of the same product with different grammage and unit prices of the same products of different brands.

Recognized State of the Technique:

Nowadays, while the customers are choosing the products they want to buy in the stores, they select the most suitable one by making a decision between the price, quality and performance options. However, when making a price comparison, direct comparison of products' prices may lead to erroneous results. Because the grammage of the products they compare may be different. In this case, it is necessary to make a comparison on unit price. In the recognized state of the technique, the customers divide the prices into individual grammage weights by a calculator and they reach to the unit prices and compare these prices. When it is thought that most of this method will be used for shopping, large time losses occur. The method is not practical at all. As a result, there is a need for a calculation system in which the recognized state of the technique is outreached and the disadvantages are eliminated.

The purpose of the invention is to provide a new calculation system which automatically compares the unit price of several products of the users. Another purpose of the invention is to provide a new calculation system which can be used by the users quickly and practically during shopping.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a new calculation system which assists users to get the most suitable product in terms of price.

Another purpose of the invention is not only unit price calculation by the user, besides that it is to provide a calculation system that enables the transactions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a new calculation system through which the user can record the comparisons he/ she made, see the comparisons which he/ she has recorded previously.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a fast and practical calculation system that is simple for users to reach with an easy use.

Description of the Invention:

The calculation system (10) which is the subject of the invention is a system which enables the comparison of unit prices of products during shopping. By using the invention, the most affordable product can be achieved after the users are making a quick and practical calculation during shopping. This saves time spent on shopping.

The system which is the subject of the invention is used with software (12) which can be installed in a device (1 1 ) that can be a telephone, tablet or a computer. The following are included within the software (12): Product tab (13), price tab (14), grammage tab (15), result tab (16), name of the record tab (17), save tab (18) and favorite button (19). (Figure - 1 )

The product tab (13) included in the software (129 is the section where references of the products are given. Products may be assigned a number reference by sequence or references such as product name or brand name may be assigned as well.

The price tag (14) included in the invention contains the sales prices of the products. These prices are the prices included in the product labels on the aisles. The price of each product is entered to the software (12) by the user. It is possible to enter the product prices in the desired currency. In the grammage tab (15) contained in the invention, it is the section where mass, volume or number of sub-products included are entered. Liters or milliliters for the products sold in the liter unit price, kilogram or gram values for the products sold with the mass unit prices are entered into the software (12) by the user as well. In products containing a certain product, it is necessary to make a comparison with the number of the products. For this reason, number of the sub-products is entered in the grammage tab (15).

Unit price of the products are included in the result section (16) contained in the invention. The unit prices are automatically calculated by the software (12) based on the grammage and price values. The most appropriate one among the values emerged is displayed differently. This can be a different display, color change or shading.

The results included in the name of the record tab (17) contained in the invention are named. Afterwards, the results are recorded by pressing the save button (18). The user can view the results he/ she recorded whenever he/ she wants.

The products of which the unit prices are calculated can be selected as favorite in the favorite button (19) tab. Notification is made to the user when the products that have been selected as favorites are subject to a discount. In this way, products can be purchased at the lowest unit price.

Not only is the unit price calculation performed with the invention. At the same time, transactions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can be performed.

Therefore the invention is a unit price calculation system (10) which allows customers to compare the unit prices of the products during shopping and its feature is as follows; the device (1 1 ) which can be a telephone, tablet or a computer in which the software (12) can be installed, the software (12) that constitutes the substructure of the system which is the subject of the invention and installed in the device (1 1 ), the product tab(13) where the name or reference marks of the products are included within the software (12), the price tab (14) on which the prices of the products are specified separately , grammage tab (15) which includes the grammage values of the unit prices of the products, the result tab (16) which contains the values that arise as a result of dividing the values in the price tab (14) into the values included in the grammage tab (15).
