Abstract:
The invention relates to a unit (2) for transferring and distributing plant material comprising: - an upstream area (20) for loading the plant material, - a downstream area (21) for delivering the plant material in communication with a means to transport (3) said plant material to a distribution location, - a conveyor (22) having cells (22a) that extend through the two areas designed to transport the plant material between the two areas, - a gas flow generator capable of forming, in the downstream area, a gas stream for driving the plant material from said area to the transport means (3) to be transported therein. The unit (2) comprises a suction means in communication with the upstream area (20) and with the cells (22a) present in said area, the suction means being capable of creating a depression in the cells to facilitate the filling thereof and/or vacuum up the dust carried by the plant material.
