A universal propel device
Field of the Invention
The invention relates to a universal propel device for driving machines and various types of devices, in particular for driving pumps, by means of a motor car.
Background of the Invention
At present various types of engines are being used to drive machines and devices, e.g. electric motors or Internal combustion engines which are either part of these devices or machines or are connected to those by various kinds of clutches or transmission mechanisms.
Normally such motors/engines are laid out directly for the given type of machine or device or adapted by construction to tirive them; they cannot be used for other types of machines, and/or devices namely from the engine side, for example its output, its number of revolutions or its derivated momentum and similar.
In case of any kind of problems or faults of such engines, with electric motors also iii the case of disconnection of the power supply, so driven machines Or devices at given points in time cannot be used, which in the case of emergency situations can cause serious problems when often special mobile alternative sources of energy, e.g. substitute aggregates for production of electric energy are not available.
The task of the presented invention therefore is on one side the elimination of such possible problems and on the other side the use of a device which is essentially always available for the largest possible number of different types of machinery and devices.
Summary of the Invention
This task is being solved by means of a universal propel device to drive machines by a motor car according to the invention, the principle of which is given that the group consists of a frame on which two rolling cylinders are mounted and a holder to drive the machine, whereby the first rolling cylinder with a smaller diameter serves as a support for the car wheel. The second rolling cylinder which has a larger diameter, whereby its shaft on one side passes through a housing with roller bearing and is equipped with a belt- pulley. The advantage of this solution is that the motorcar ascends with one driving wheel onto the rolling cylinders of the device. Once the wheels of the motorcar are .placed on the cylinders and the gear is put in the wheels start rotating which causes rotation of the rolling cylinders with the V-belt and by means of the transmission belt the device and/or machine are driven which themselves have a V-belt and are connected with the device by a holder which makes part of the frame of the device. The big advantage of this solution is that a self-suction pump can be mounted on the holder of the frame of the device a and thus e.g. flooded plains, cellars or similar can be pumped-off.
Brief Description of the Drawing
The universal ' propel device to drive the devices/machines By means of a motor car In the exemplary construction of the invention will " be closer explained by a drawing, whereby Fig. 1 demonstrates the device Seen from the top.
T)eseriptϊ6ή of the Prefered Embodiment
The universal propel, device to αnve αevices/machines by means of a motor car, according to the FIg.1, consists of a metal frame 1 with a holder 2 and of a supporting rolling cylinder 4, which is put on ballbearings and its shaft is fixed on the frame L On the opposite side of the frame L, the driving rolling cylinder 3 is supported and its shaft is borne by ball-bearings in the housings 5_ which are screwed onto the frame h The shaft of the driving rolling cylinder 3 opposite of the holder 2 of the driven machine is equipped with a belt pulley 6 í
IField of the Application
The universal propel device for driving machines and devices by means of an automobile according to the invention above is intended for the operation of pumps; it can, however, also be used for driving other devices or machines.
