This unloading device (100) is provided with: a vertical transportation mechanism unit (110) which holds, in a lower end thereof, a scraping part (112) for scraping cargo (6) inside a cargo box (5); and distance measurement sensors (130-132) disposed in the vertical transportation mechanism unit (110) and capable of measuring distance in a downward direction. Three or more of the distance measurement sensors (130-132) can be provided to include at least one distance measurement sensor having a different measurement range from the other distance measurement sensors or having a measurement direction that is not parallel to the measurement directions of the other distance measurement sensors. A display unit (230) can be provided which, on the basis of the measurement results measured by the distance measurement sensors (130-132), displays images indicating at least a portion of the cargo box (5), the vertical transportation mechanism unit (110), and the scraping part (112). The display unit (230) can display as images, a cross-section on which the scraping part (112) is present and a cross-section on which a hatch coaming (7) provided in an upper portion of the cargo box (5) is present.
