Abstract:
A computing system obtains a first infrared image of the structure captured by a first unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at an image capture location. The image capture location is independent of the structure such that any change in a position of the structure does not change the image capture location. Additionally, the computing system obtains a second infrared image of the structure captured by the first UAV or a second UAV at the image capture location. The computing system determines, based on an angle between the beam from the laser as shown in the first image and the beam from the laser as shown in the second image, a score for the second infrared image. The computing system determines, based on the score for the second infrared image, whether a position of the structure has changed during a time interval between capture of the first infrared image and capture of the second infrared image..
