Abstract:
The unmanned aircraft is equipped with a camera, a laser ranging system, and a drive unit. The laser ranging system measures the distance to an object in the camera field of view. The drive unit rotates the field of view. Information on the relative positions of objects around the unmanned aircraft can be obtained using a compact lightweight device.
