Abstract:
[Problem] To provide unmodified cellulose beads whereby a soft focus effect and a texture that is suitable for use in a cosmetic material can both be achieved, and a method for manufacturing the unmodified cellulose beads. [Solution] Provided are unmodified cellulose beads that are blended in a cosmetic material, the average particle diameter (D50) thereof being 1-20 µm, the average particle diameter (D10) being 4.0 µm or less, the average particle diameter (D20) being 6.0 µm or less, the average particle diameter (D90) being 30.0 µm or less, and the value (SD/D50) obtained by dividing the standard deviation (SD) of the average particle diameter by the average particle diameter (D50) being 0.4-1.5.
