Abstract:
A ski for sliding on snow according to the invention combines a lower sliding surface having hollowed-out side cuts, with a ratio between a maximum anterior width (LA) and a minimum intermediate width (L1) of between 1.20 and 1.80, with a ratio between a maximum posterior width (LP) and the minimum intermediate width (L1) of between 1.20 and 1.80, with an asymmetrical shape of the lower side edges (7a, 8a) with respect to a longitudinal mid-plane (1-1), and with an average width of between 11.7 and 15.4 centimetres. Such a ski has good properties both in powdery snow and in hard snow.
