Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for updating the communication protocol version number in a distributed system. The method comprises: generating respective syntactic structure representations of a code version before modification and a code version after modification, and defining the representations as a first syntactic structure representation and a second syntax structure representation respectively; obtaining respective communication protocol data structures in the first syntactic structure representation and the second syntactic structure representation, and defining the data structures as a first communication data structure and a second communication data structure respectively; generating a first text message and a second text message respectively based on all syntactic information of the first communication data structure and the second communication data structure; calculating respective unique identifiers of the first text message and the second text message, and defining the identifiers as a first unique identifier and a second unique identifier respectively; comparing the first unique identifier with the second unique identifier, and updating the version number of the preset communication protocol when the first unique identifier is different from the second unique identifier. In the embodiment of the present invention, the method for updating the version number of the communication protocol in the distributed system greatly enhances the reliability for the distributed system to discover changes of the communication protocol and improves the efficiency of updating the version number of the communication protocol.
