Abstract:
An update management program for causing an information processing device to implement a function to: acquire updated version information about engineering tool software and control device firmware; acquire a software version of an engineering tool installed on the information processing device; acquire a firmware version of firmware installed on a control device connected to the information processing device; on the basis of a comparison with the updated version information, determine updated versions available for updating the software version and the firmware version; create an update screen for selecting auto-updating of the installed software and firmware; and, when the auto-updating has been selected on the update screen, instruct that the engineering tool software and the control device firmware, for which the updated versions have been determined, be automatically updated to these updated versions.
