Abstract:
An update message (UPDATE) protect and validate method and system, the said method includes: the update message generator calculates and accumulates the abstract information of the multiple generated update message, and generates the intact protect information based on the accumulated abstract information, and transmits the said intact protect information with the last update message(301); the update message receiver calculates the abstract information of the multiple received update message, and it validates the said update message until receiving the update message with the intact protect information, (302). The said system includes an update message generating processing device and an update message receiving processing device. In this way, the invention resolves the problems that the operation number of the update message protect and validate is too many in prior art and the system operation expenses is high, and reduces the influence of a large amount of calculation on the network devices because of the safty mechanism introduced by the protect route notify information.
