Abstract:
Provided in the present application are an uplink access method and device. The method comprises: a network device receiving indication information sent by a terminal device when online, wherein the indication information is used for triggering the network device to send uplink registration window indication information in a first port, and the uplink registration window indication information is used for indicating that the terminal device sends uplink registration information at an indicated registration window position; and the network device sending, according to the indication information, the uplink registration window indication information in the first port. The technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application can avoid, in a P2MP operating mode, a network device periodically indicating a registration window, and thus resource overheads can be saved on and power consumption can be reduced.
