Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are an uplink authorisation method and a terminal device, the method comprising: the terminal device determines a first data quantity P to report to a first network device and a second data quantity Q to report to a second network device, the sum of the first data quantity P and a second data quantity Q being equivalent to the sum of a third data quantity C of a packet data convergence protocol PDCP layer cache of the terminal device and a fourth data quantity M of a radio link control RLC layer cache of the terminal device, the fourth data quantity M comprising a data quantity to be newly transmitted in the RLC layer cache, the terminal device interacting with the first network device by means of a first RLC layer, and the terminal device interacting with the second network device by means of a second RLC layer; the terminal device sends the first data quantity P to the first network device and then the second data quantity Q to the second network device. The method and terminal device in the embodiments of the present invention improve uplink authorisation performance.
