Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink data transmission method and a user equipment. The method comprises: receiving a first uplink grant (UL grant) from a first serving cell; generating first power headroom information and retaining a triggered power headroom report (PHR); and sending the first power headroom information to the first serving cell according to the first UL grant. According to the transmission method provided by the embodiments of the present invention, a triggered PHR will not be cancelled before a generated PHR is successfully sent, instead the triggered PHR will be cancelled after it is determined that the generated PHR is successfully sent over a physical layer. Compared with the prior art, the present invention can ensure, to a certain extent, the timely transmission of PHRs and can effectively improve the transmission reliability of PHRs.
