Abstract:
The present invention provides an uplink reference signal transmission method for use in a user equipment (UE). The method comprises: determining one or more parameters for generating a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of a narrowband physical uplink control channel (NB-PUCCH), wherein for a single-tone uplink transmission, the parameter for DMRS generation comprises an orthogonal cover code (OCC) sequence and a base sequence, and for a multi-tone uplink transmission, the parameter for DMRS generation comprises a circular shift, an OCC sequence, and a base sequence; and generating the DMRS of the NB-PUCCH on the basis of the determined parameters. The generated DMRS of the NB-PUCCH is then delivered to a base station. The invention further provides an uplink reference signal receiving method to be performed by a base station, and a UE and a base station for performing the method.
