Abstract:
Disclosed are an uplink synchronization method and apparatus, and a related device thereof. The uplink synchronization method comprises: sending an uplink reference signal to a network device of at least one candidate cell, wherein the uplink reference signal is used for the network device of the at least one candidate cell to determine timing advance (TA) information; receiving TA indication information sent by a network device of a serving cell where a terminal device is located, wherein the TA indication information at least comprises TA information of a target cell, to which the terminal device is to be switched, in the at least one candidate cell; and indicating, on the basis of the network device of the serving cell, to switch the terminal device to the target cell, and performing uplink synchronization according to the TA information of the target cell.
