Disclosed by the present application are an uplink transmission method and terminal, which are applied to the technical field of communications so as to solve the signal transmission problem when a short duration physical layer uplink control channel carrying a scheduling request (SR) conflicts with another uplink channel on the same time domain resource. The method comprises: a terminal using a first transmission power to transmit a first uplink channel on a first time domain resource, and the terminal using a second transmission power to transmit a second uplink channel on the first time domain resource, wherein the first uplink channel occupies the first time domain resource to transmit an SR, the first time domain resource and a part of the time domain resource occupied by the second uplink channel are the same, or the first time domain resource and all of the time domain resource occupied by the second uplink channel are the same. With the described method, when a short duration physical layer uplink control channel carrying an SR conflicts with another uplink channel on the same time domain resource, simultaneous transmission on the conflicting time domain resource may be achieved according to the transmission powers configured for the two conflicting channels by the terminal.
