Provided is an upper support wherein it is not necessary to cut the outer peripheral surface of an inner fitting in order to fix a rebound stopper fitting, the production cost of the upper support can be reduced, a swaging operation can be easily performed by a small force, and the rebound stopper fitting can be firmly secured to the inner fitting in the rotational direction. In the upper support provided between a vehicle body and a shock absorber, which prevents vibrations using the elastic deformation of a rubber elastic element, projected fitting pieces (58) are partially provided on the top end surface of an inner fitting (12) in the circumferential direction, and are upwardly projected by a length larger than the thickness of a rebound stopper fitting (18), and recessed portions (66) corresponding to the projected fitting pieces (58) are provided in the rebound stopper fitting (18). While the projected fitting pieces (58) are upwardly inserted and fitted to the recessed portions (66), the portions of the projected fitting pieces that are exposed on the top surface of the rebound stopper fitting (18) are folded and swaged, to secure the rebound stopper fitting (18) to the top portion of the inner fitting.
