An upright brine transfer pump having high lift, comprising a driving motor mounted on a motor base, a sleeve cylinder, and a pump body connected below the sleeve cylinder. A plurality of flow-directing impellers sleeved on an impeller shaft are arranged in the pump body, and a spring telescoping mechanism and a hole stopping apparatus that are connected to each other are arranged on the impeller shaft. By means of the addition of a water tank and a water stopping device in the upright brine transfer pump, the viscosity of the brine during brine extraction is guaranteed, and thus the phenomenon that the working efficiency of the whole upright brine transfer pump is affected due to problems such as large specific gravity and high concentration of the brine does not occur. Meanwhile, the freshwater in the water tank can also have a certain cleaning effect on the pump body, ensuring that within short time periods, pump blockage will not occur, thus allowing the brine extraction process to be carried out smoothly, and ensuring high-lift extraction by the upright brine transfer pump.
