Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner (10A) which is an example of an upright type floor treatment device comprises: a suction nozzle (13) which is provided at the front of the lower part of the body section and which has a lower surface (Su) which allows the angle thereof to be changed; and a handle (14) which is provided at the upper part of the body section. A steering wheel (15) for determining the advance direction (M) is provided at the rear of the lower part of the body section. The handle (14) and the steering wheel (15) are connected by a steering connection section composed of a handle shaft (16), a steering wheel adjustment shaft (161), and a pivoting transmission section. The direction of the suction nozzle (13) can be easily changed without adopting a complex configuration and without moving the entire body section.
