An upsetter, comprising a machine body (1, 601, 941, 1021), a big sliding block (2, 602, 1102) slidably installed on the machine body, a die assembly and a big sliding block driving mechanism (604) for driving the big sliding block to slide back and forth installed on the big sliding block, a main die assembly (4, 609), a material ejecting mechanism (605) and a wire feeding mechanism (608) installed on the machine body, and a crankshaft (53, 378, 615, 943) of which two ends are supported on the machine body; the big sliding block driving mechanism comprises a first small sliding block (56, 1105) and a second small sliding block (57, 1106); the first small sliding block and the second small sliding block encircles around an eccentric shaft of the crankshaft, and the eccentric shaft of the crankshaft is only rotatably installed together with the first small sliding block and the second small sliding block; the first small sliding block and the second small sliding block are installed together; the big sliding block comprises a sliding block big insert (67) and a sliding block small insert (68); a sliding groove (75) is provided on the sliding block big insert. The big sliding block driving mechanism of the upsetter has less transmission links, and the big sliding block has great upsetting force and high upsetting accuracy.
