Abstract:
The present invention relates to an upwardly sliding folding door which opens/shuts by means of the vertical upward/downward movement thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to an upwardly sliding folding door in which a lever is employed as a connection means for the displacement of door panels so as to enable the door panels to be sequentially stacked into a layer during the opening of the door, to thereby improve operating reliability; in which the upward/downward movements of the door panels, the stacking operations of the door panels during opening, and the descending operations of the door panels during shutting are performed along chain-type rails, to thereby ensure durability and improving operating reliability over a long period of use; and to which a braking function is added to prevent accidents caused by the door panels falling upon the occurrence of breakage of an open/shut chain, and in which a weight is employed to reduce power consumption.
